The AC condenser is a vital part of every car's ac system.  If you have ever seen a radiator, the condenser looks just like one.  It also serves the same purpose.  It removes the heat from the superheated and compressed refrigerant.  There are intricate bends and folds which pull the heat out of the refrigerant as it passes through.  These internal nooks and crannies, combined with outside air, help remove heat from the refrigerant
